Brianna Wells holds a PhD in English from the University of Alberta (2017). Her doctoral research explores the circulation of opera in emergent mass media in Canada and the U.S. in the early twentieth century. Since moving to Kelowna in 2017, she worked in Social Sciences and Humanities research grant facilitation at UBC Okanagan and has then transitioned her University work to join the DEGE team as project manager. In addition to her work in research project management, Brianna has been the Managing Director for Opera Kelowna since 2020.
